In December 2025, Columba Park was granted outline planning permission at appeal (3368272 – Appeal Decision) for a mixed commercial development of up to 46,605 sqm. The proposed development, located to the southeast of Junction 18 on the A12 in Chelmsford, will include employment, logistics, storage and distribution uses.
