The Concept Masterplan demonstrates how the site could be brought forward to deliver a high quality and highly sustainable employment park. The Concept Masterplan has full regard for all technical considerations as well as the draft policy requirement of the emerging Local Plan. This illustrates how a scheme could come forward to deliver the following:

 

  • Economic Growth with an estimated 620 on-site jobs.
  • A network of multifunctional green infrastructure including the retention of as many trees as possible and a net increase of trees across the site as a whole.
  • The Site’s green infrastructure network will enable opportunities for leisure, recreation and occupational health.
  • Sustainable pedestrian connections to the north, east and west of the Site will link into the existing public rights of way network and the Sandon Park and Ride, significantly improving pedestrian connectivity within the vicinity of the site.
  • Sustainable travel plan.
  • Provide extensive and robust landscape buffers to the Site’s boundaries.
  • Provide a mix of building sizes and styles.
